A free paddling and fishing event is returning to Two Rivers.
This is the second year for Paddle Palooza, which is put on by the Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department, and will take place on Saturday (September 13th) at Veterans Park beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Those who arrive first will have the opportunity to take an hour-long kayaking lesson before heading out on the West Twin River from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
There will also be an outdoor vendor and activity expo from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a paddle at sunset from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Two Rivers High School fishing club will also be at Paddle Palooza to teach kids how to fish.
While you’re asked to bring your own kayak, some will be available to borrow, but you must register in advance.
Registration and more information about Paddle Palooza can be found at exploretworivers.com.
