A Two Rivers-based dog rescue is in danger of shutting down.
Puzzles Pitbull Rescue tells SeehaferNews.com that they have saved over 100 dogs since February, but money is running short.
Founder Angel Jacobson says she has been dipping into her personal accounts to cover expenses as donations have slowed.
This has led to her home, which is the base of the rescue, going into pre-foreclosure.
Angel says this residence is where “90% of Puzzles’ rescue dogs are housed before finding forever families. Without it, the rescue would be forced to close, resulting in 200 fewer dogs saved each year from kill shelters in Texas and Oklahoma.”
Angel has raised $6,000, but another $5,000 is urgently needed to save both her home and the rescue.
Donations can be sent through Venmo, or you can contact Angel directly at 920-717-8091 or puzzlespitbullrescue@gmail.com.
