Vintage vehicles will once again take to the track at Road America next weekend.
The Ariens Art on Wheels Vintage Weekend with the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association (VSCDA) kicks off on September 12th, featuring a celebration of classic motorsport and community fun that continues to be a favorite among fans of all ages.
Road America calls the event “a three-day journey through time, where the past meets the present on one of the most iconic tracks in the world.”
More than 300 vintage and historic race cars will be on hand, competing in multiple classes ranging from pre-war machines and early production sports cars to prototypes, open wheel, and modern production groups.
Featured events include the Kimberly Cup, Sheldon Cup, Carl Haas Cup, Elkhart Lake Cup, the Founders Tribute Race, Formula Ford East vs. West Challenge, and special 70th Anniversary Invitational races that honor Road America’s storied history.
