Registration is now open again for the annual Manitowoc Lakeshore Holiday Parade.
The 37th rendition of the parade takes place the night before Thanksgiving, on Wednesday, November 26th, at 6:30 p.m. Space is limited to 80 entries and fills up quickly.
The parade will include the always festive, decorated floats as well as marching bands, trucks, and walkers following the route, which heads east at South 14th and Washington Street before going up 8th Street and ending at the Rahr-West Art Museum.
Entries are judged and winners are announced publicly with trophies presented at the December Common Council meeting. A sensory-sensitive zone will also be in effect at the start of the parade, from South 14th Street to South 12th Street.
Before the parade, kids can gather at the Rahr-West for a Santa Reception, as well as after.
The free event allows children to meet with Santa Claus, enjoy sweet treats, and take in the beauty of Christmas at the Mansion.
Registration for the parade can be found online at visitmanitowoc.org.
