Although no one has won the latest $1.7 billion Powerball jackpot yet, one person in northeastern Wisconsin is $50,000 richer.
One of three winning $50,000 Powerball tickets sold for the Wednesday (September 3rd) drawing was sold at a Kwik Trip on East Edgewood Drive in Appleton.
All three winning tickets matched four of five members, which were 3-16-29-61-69 with the Powerball of 22.
The Wisconsin Lottery explains that across the U.S., there were 117 $50,000 tickets drawn, totaling more than $6.3 million in cash prizes in the Wednesday drawing.
The next drawing for the $1.7 billion Powerball jackpot is tomorrow (September 6th) and is the third largest in U.S. history.
The winner of the $50,000 Powerball ticket has 180 days to claim their winnings, and Kwik Trip will get an incentive for selling the ticket.
