A prominent dog breeding organization is facing legal trouble.
Ridglan Farms is facing more than $55,000 in civil penalties following inspections that uncovered over 300 violations.
Documents reveal the dog breeding facility was cited for 308 instances of animal mistreatment.
They were also found to have committed three additional violations related to missing required health evaluations.
The farm can either accept the fines and settle the matter or contest the case in Dane County Circuit Court.
