A Manitowoc woman who was facing charges of 1st-degree reckless homicide for delivering drugs that killed a man has been convicted.
According to court records, 40-year-old Stephanie Snyder returned to Manitowoc County court to enter a plea in the death of a 40-year-old man back in 2023.
However, a charge of 1st-degree reckless homicide by delivering drugs was dropped, as well as one count of felony bail jumping.
Snyder was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on two charges for manufacturing and delivering an amphetamine. She will return to court in December for a sentencing hearing.
Prosecutors requested a maximum sentence of six years in prison for the 40-year-old.
The victim’s name was never released, but his body was found back in June.
Snyder admitted to the Manitowoc Police that she was supplying drugs to the man, which ended up killing him.
She is also facing charges in two other drug cases from 2024 and 2025.
One charges her with possessing cocaine and methamphetamine, while the other has her facing charges of possession of narcotics.
She is scheduled to enter pleas in both cases later this year.
