There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today (September 4th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Personnel Committee will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m., where they will hear comments from the public.
Then, after getting their usual monthly reports, the group will get an update on the health plan from a representative of Sheboygan-based McClone Insurance.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Crime Prevention Committee will be in the lower level of the Public Safety Building.
After getting their usual reports and hearing input from the public, the group will learn more about a text message refund scam that has hit the area.
They will also select the recipient of the annual Crime Prevention Award.
