A municipality in western Wisconsin has taken legal action over the price of firetrucks.
The City of La Crosse has filed a federal lawsuit against three fire truck manufacturers.
In the lawsuit, the City is accusing them of driving up prices through market manipulation.
City officials claim fire trucks that once cost $500,000 now approach $1 million.
They also allege the price hike is due to unfair practices.
The lawsuit seeks a jury trial.
