The date for the next Drug Take Back Day in Sheboygan County has been announced.
Healthy Sheboygan County, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Sheboygan Police Department, will be holding the prescription drug take-back day on October 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
There will be four drive-thru or drop-off locations throughout the county, including Generations in Plymouth, the Random Lake Fire Department, St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, and the Sheboygan Falls Police Department.
These events are aimed to be a convenient yet responsible means of disposal for residents.
Each location will accept items such as prescription and over-the-counter medications, ointments, inhalers, pet medications, and much more.
However, items such as illegal drugs, needles, bio-hazardous materials, or mercury thermometers will not be accepted.
For those looking to utilize the St. Nicholas Hospital location, the drop box has been moved to the Superior Avenue entrance on the south side of the building.
