The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office is honoring a longtime member of the team.
Dispatcher Scott Schwarz has retired after 31 years of selfless service to the community.
Scott began his time as a Calumet County Dispatcher on May 13th, 1994, and as the Sheriff’s Office put it, “has been a cornerstone of our team ever since.”
He wasn’t just manning the phones, as Scott also worked part-time as a police officer with the Kiel Police Department.
In the announcement, the Sheriff’s Office also said, “Thank you, Scott, for your service to our community. Enjoy the next chapter of your life!”
