The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation has opened up the nomination period for its 2026 Teacher Fellowship and Principal Leadership awards.
Since 1990, the organization has honored teachers from around the state for their ability to inspire a love of learning and to demonstrate outstanding administrative skills.
To be considered, nominees must be currently teaching or serving as a principal in a Wisconsin PK–12 school, and plan to continue in their current role for at least one more year.
Nominees must be nominated by a parent, student, fellow educator, school administrator, or community member.
Each award recipient will receive $6,000, and their school will also receive a matching $6,000 grant. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $40 million to Wisconsin educators, principals, students, and schools.
Nominations can be submitted at KohlEducation.org.
