Road closures in Sheboygan County are set to continue this week.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has shared that Interstate 43 will experience periodic closures throughout the county beginning today (September 2nd) at 6:00 a.m.
This will remain in place until tomorrow (September 3rd) at 2:00 p.m., allowing crews to perform pavement repairs in both the north and southbound lanes of I-43.
During the project, motorists can expect moving lane closures.
Other work in Sheboygan County on State Highways 28 and 32 will also continue to affect traffic patterns.
The Highway 28 bridge replacement project in Cascade is progressing toward completion with crews conducting beam guard grading and asphalt work this week.
Drivers are still asked to use County Road A and State Highway 57 while work is completed.
On Highway 32, they will be completing the excavation of the final culvert just south of County Road N.
During this stage of the project, motorists will be detoured onto I-43 and Highway 28.
