The Sheboygan Common Council is set for an out-of-the-ordinary Tuesday meeting.
The Council will meet tonight (September 2nd) at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers to account for the long Labor Day weekend.
The group will begin discussions by appointing Katy Reis to the Mayor’s International Committee before giving the public time to comment.
They will then have votes on polling locations for 2026, a DORA for this year’s Riverfest event, purchase orders for vehicles for the DPW, and the Specific Implementation Plan submitted by Sheboygan Visual Artists.
They will finish the night with general ordinance discussions and possible votes regarding multiple Sheboygan Municipal Code sections pertaining to insurance requirements and the waiver of special event fees for public health benefit events.
This Tuesday’s Common Council meeting will be the only governmental meeting for the week in the City of Sheboygan.
