A new school resource officer in the Valders Area School District comes from the next county over.
The Chilton Police Department says Officer Joshua Harn has become the district’s next school resource officer and has been working hard to learn the layout of the new area he’s patrolling.
There are many unique areas and hidden pathways in the school buildings, according to the department.
Harn had also attended the season-opening football game when Valders faced Xavier of Appleton.
Chilton Police encourage students and staff to make sure to say hello to Harn in the hallways, and they wish him well as the school year gets started soon.
