The Sheboygan Police Department will be experiencing some service disruptions.
The department has let the public know that the customer service window at the station will be closed today (August 28th) from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This closure is in place to account for a staff meeting but will not affect the day-to-day law enforcement operations in Sheboygan.
Payments may be dropped in the drop box during the closure.
However, Sheboygan PD has also shared that there will be no public fingerprinting services offered until further notice.
As previously reported by SeehaferNews.com, fingerprinting services were temporarily halted on August 20th to account for software system updates.
These updates are taking longer than expected and are now shutting down the department’s fingerprinting until the network upgrades are complete.
At this time, no set date for when they will be back has been provided, but the Sheboygan Police Department will alert the public when the service is back up and running.
