What had been speculation for weeks became a reality late this afternoon. Micah Parsons, considered one of the best pass rushers of his generation, has been traded by the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers.
In exchange, the Cowboys receive all-pro defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two future first-round picks.
Parsons has also agreed to a 4-year $188 million deal that includes, according to ESPN, $120 million in fully guaranteed money, making Parsons the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
This deal, according to many, now makes the Packers a prohibitive favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl on February 8th in Santa Clara, California.
