Gas prices throughout Eastern Wisconsin rose significantly over the past week.
Manitowoc County saw the biggest jump since this time last week, coming in 28 cents per gallon higher with an average $3.09 as reported on the AAA Gas Prices website.
Sheboygan County reported an 18-cent bump to $3.02, while Calumet County’s 13-cent increase to $3.01 was the least severe increase in the area.
Outagamie County motorists are paying 19 cents more per gallon with an average of $2.97, while Brown County saw a 21-cent jump to $3.05.
Kewaunee County gas prices are 25 cents higher with an average of $3.08 as of this morning, while Door County’s 17-cent bump leaves that area with the most expensive fuel in the area, averaging $3.10.
The state average also saw a double-digit increase, coming in 13 cents more expensive at $3.02, while the national average rose eight cents to $3.21.
