Labor Day weekend will get an early kickoff in Sheboygan County.
The Sheboygan County Fair opens in Plymouth tomorrow (August 28th) at 8:00 a.m. and will run, as is tradition, through Labor Day on Monday (September 1st).
The festivities will begin with open-class non-animal judging, followed by junior and open-class judging for cattle, rabbits, and calves.
Highlighting the night will be the farm tractor pull taking place in the grandstand at 7:00 p.m.
Day two will serve as Military Day and Senior Citizens Day, allowing veterans and seniors to get into the fair for free or at a discounted price.
Friday’s major entertainment is scheduled to be the IRA Sprint Cars in the grandstand, with the Plymouth Dirt Track 360 sprints also hitting the track in tandem.
Day three will feature headline musical acts of Thomas Mac taking the grandstand stage at 7:00 p.m., followed by country music star Cooper Allen at 8:30 p.m.
Bull riding and barrel racing will fill the grandstand seats on Sunday (August 31st), followed by the traditional demolition derby closing out the fair on Labor Day.
Each day at the fair will feature both unique and recurring entertainment for attendees, and complete schedules for each day can be found online at shebcofair.com.
