A teacher in the Plymouth School District has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a student.
It has been reported that the teacher, an unnamed 40-year-old woman, was arrested yesterday (August 25th) by detectives with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation into the teacher discovered that she allegedly sexually assaulted a since-graduated Plymouth student on numerous occasions within Fond du Lac County.
Probable cause was developed throughout the investigation, allowing the Sheriff’s Office to arrest her and book her in the Fond du Lac County Jail on multiple sexual assault charges.
At this time, the suspect’s name and additional details regarding the case are being withheld until the Plymouth teacher is formally charged with a crime in court.
Since her arrest, the Plymouth School District has placed the accused teacher on administrative leave.
