Manitowoc Lincoln alum and Central Michigan transfer Davis Heinzen will start for the Wisconsin Badgers.
Head Coach Luke Fickell released his two-deep Monday, and the 6′ 6″, 315-pound lineman was listed as the starting left tackle.
Heinzen played the last three seasons for the Central Michigan Chippewas, starting 36 consecutive games at either left guard or left tackle.
Heinzen drew praise during fall camp from his coaches, including offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes going on record saying that the Shipbuilders grad is “very smart and picks up on things very quickly.”
