There are two meetings on tap for today (August 25th) in the City of Manitowoc, both of which begin at 5:00 p.m.
The Library Board will meet in the Library Board Room, where they will hear comments from the public.
Then, after reviewing their monthly financial reports, Treasurer Chris Able will lead a discussion on the 2026 budget.
They will also get the latest on the ongoing HVAC project and other facilities updates.
Meanwhile, the Public Safety Committee will be in the Council Chambers, where they will also hear comments from the public.
Then, the group will discuss a citizen’s objection to a dangerous animal designation placed upon his dog.
The canine is accused of biting a child, however, its owner claims to have two witnesses and video surveillance that would disprove the claim.
