Families will have the chance to experience a day of fun, adventure, and education at the Sheboygan Marsh.
The Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation Department has shared that the annual Kohler Center for Marsh Education open house will take place on September 20th from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
This annual event will feature some returning crowd favorites as well as new experiences for attendees who can participate free of cost.
Those in attendance can enjoy free canoeing provided by Camp Y-Koda, meet the Great Lakes Search and Rescue K9s and learn about the hard and vital work they do, geocaching and scavenger hunts, and much more.
New this year will be a free bluebird house make-and-take for the first 15 to arrive, thanks to the Sheboygan River Basin Partnership.
Again, the event is free to attend, intended for people of all ages, and no registration is required.
Anyone with questions regarding the Kohler Center for Marsh Education open house is asked to call 920-459-1370.
