A Sheboygan-made film is set to be showcased around the Midwest.
Good Intentions was created as a part of the 2024 48 Hour Film Horror Sci-Fi Project – Wisconsin challenge by 16 local filmmakers under the moniker Neon Perspective.
The group wrote, filmed, and edited the 6-minute short horror in just 48 hours.
The film tells the story of a school psychologist who has “a hell of a night” after a student claims she hears disturbing voices on her tape recorder.
The film is now set to be screened at three film festivals.
First, it will be shown at the Milwaukee Illuminate Film Festival on September 7th at the Avalon Atmospheric Theater, followed by the Chicago Horror Film Festival, which runs September 26th through the 28th.
Finally, a little closer to home, Good Intentions will be shown to attendees at Sawdust City Fright Fest at the Time Community Theater in Oshkosh.
That festival is on October 10th and 11th.
