A local publishing company has announced its next book launch party.
Fresh Water Press, based out of Two Rivers, will be showcasing its second book of 2025, “Dial Down: Holistic Strategies to Move from Chaos to Calm” by Raquel Durden, at Woodland Dunes on September 10th.
“Dial Down” is described as a practical guide focused on holistic wellness techniques to help individuals manage stress and find calmness in their lives.
Raquel was born in Two Rivers, raised in Manitowoc, and is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and combat veteran.
She is also the founder of Humble Warrior Wellness & Yoga, a nonprofit supporting women veterans and first responders for almost a decade.
She will be on hand from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. to talk about “Dial Down” and to sign books.
