Taken at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic
Manitowoc Lincoln will field a girls varsity golf team for the first time this morning as they participate in a season-opening Invitational at Thornberry Creek at Oneida in Green Bay.
Chris Grodek is their head coach as the Ships are one of 18 teams scheduled to compete.
Other schools in the field include Sheboygan North, Bay Port, De Pere, and Green Bay Preble.
The first tee time was scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, the junior Varsity will play at Hilly Haven Golf Course in De Pere.
Twelve teams are scheduled to compete, including the Ships and host Redbirds, Sheboygan North, Bay Port, Green Bay Preble, and West De Pere.
