
Friday night football has arrived with a full slate of games throughout northeast Wisconsin.
The traveler’s trophy will be up for grabs at Lancer Field, soon to be named Heidrich Field, as Manitowoc Lutheran plays host to the Roncalli Jets.
A ceremony at halftime will be held to officially dedicate the Lancers’ home to long-time football coach and educator Fred Heidrich.

Other week one games include Two Rivers hosting Fox Valley Lutheran, Valders is home for Xavier (Appleton), Kiel opens defense of its EWC crown hosting Sheboygan Falls, and Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian travels to Oostburg.
Other games include Sheboygan North hosting Kewaskum, Sheboygan South facing West Bend West, Howards Grove welcoming Milwaukee King, Southern Door visiting New Holstein, defending Big East champion Cedar Grove/Belgium hosting Mayville, Denmark entertaining Shawano, and Random Lake/Ozaukee traveling to Milwaukee to play Kingdom Prep Lutheran.
Also tonight, Luxemburg-Casco hosts Seymour, Kewaunee plays at Racine Lutheran,, Oshkosh North at Ashwaubenon, Green Bay East hosts Appleton West, Green Bay West travels to Omro, Green Bay Preble visits Oshkosh West, Oconomowoc welcomes Pulaski, West De Pere is at Hortonville, Neenah hosts Muskego, Kimberly travels to Sussex Hamilton and Hartford hosts Fond Du Lac.
