Curtis J. Mrozinski, age 80, of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Froedtert Medical Center of Wauwatosa.
Curtis was born on May 31, 1945, in Manitowoc, a son of the late Theodore and Anastasia (DeCleene) Mrozinski. He grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1964 graduate of Lincoln High School. On June 26, 1999, Curtis was married to Jane A. Christianson at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Manitowoc.
Curtis worked for many years at the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed woodworking, yardwork, and going up north to the family cabin at Long Lake. During many Christmas seasons he was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. Curtis was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Survivors include his wife: Jane Mrozinski; his children: Michelle (David) Bucey, Sharon Enz, Jim Taddy, Cheryl (Craig) Wallen, Michelle Skelton, Jeff Mrozinski, Pat Wazny, Mary (Tom) Meidl, Chris (Tracy) Wazny; fourteen grandchildren: Kennedy, Teagan, Tony, Alec, Axten, Danika, Zachary, Rebecca, Olivia, Billy, Bobbi, Becki, Brady, Josie; seven great-grandchildren: Anya, Lauren, Ethan, Allison, Aiden, Brynlee, Colton; one sister-in-law: Edith Christianson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Theodore and Anastasia Mrozinski; one brother and sister-in-law: Alvin (Betty) Mrozinski; one sister and brother-in-law: Geneva (Adolph) Stubbe; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Dale Christianson, Bob (Karen) Christianson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st St., Manitowoc, the Rev. Doug LeCaptain will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Al Boeldt will conduct a Parish Vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
