The murder trial of a man accused of killing a UW-Whitewater gymnast has been pushed back.
Prosecutors allege Chad Richards fatally shot 21-year-old Kara Welsh during an argument last year.
Investigators say Richards fired eight rounds while Welsh was on the floor in the fetal position.
His trial is now scheduled to begin in June of next year.
