Federal officials are on the ground today in Milwaukee, working to assess the damage left behind by recent flooding.
FEMA crews will be going door-to-door to gather information from impacted residents.
County Executive David Crowley says assessments will concentrate on homes labeled as “destroyed” or suffering “major damage.”
So far, more than half of the properties reviewed fall into those categories.
