While everyone is out enjoying the Manitowoc County Fair, veterans and their families are encouraged to stop into the Vendors Building to learn more about the American Legion.
Several Manitowoc County posts will be on hand starting at noon Wednesday through Sunday to give vets information on what they do and how to join.
The American Legion posts have also added a “Veterans Oasis” where those who have served can enjoy the camaraderie and conversation with their fellow Veterans while taking a break from the activities of the fair.
Veterans and Military members are also eligible to sign up for our daily raffle with a new prize each day.
There are five total posts in Manitowoc County: Post 88 in Manitowoc, Post 165 in Two Rivers, Post 477 in St. Nazianz, Post 28 in Valders and 199 in Reedsville.
