A local nonprofit is looking to support new and expecting parents in Manitowoc County.
The Community Baby Shower, hosted by Healthiest Manitowoc County, will take place on October 17th at the Two Rivers Community House from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The annual Community Baby Shower aims to celebrate families expecting or with children three years or younger to ensure they get a strong start to parenthood.
The event is free to attend, and no registration is required.
Those in attendance will get helpful parenting resources, a free family photo, free giveaways, and much more.
New and expecting parents will also be able to learn about the support available to them in the community, as well as key topics in parenting and childhood development.
Those who are not new or expecting parents can still support the event through donations of raffle prizes to be handed out or new or unused clothing items to the community closet.
More information on the Community Baby Shower can be found by visiting the Healthiest Manitowoc County Facebook page, while a link to donate can be located at healthiestmc.org/communitybabyshower.
