The father of the teen who carried out a deadly shooting at Abundant Life Christian School is asking a Dane County judge to dismiss the charges filed against him.
Jeffrey Rupnow and his attorney argue that he did not provide his daughter, Natalie Rupnow, with access to the family’s gun safe, despite her obtaining a weapon used in the attack.
The December shooting left two dead and six injured before Natalie took her own life.
Rupnow is currently charged with two counts of illegally providing a firearm to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
