A Two Rivers woman is facing charges after allegedly keeping children locked in a car while she got her nails done.
Manitowoc Police were called to QT Nails + Spa on July 18th on a report of children locked in a car.
The officers arrived to find three children inside of a black SUV with no adult supervision.
Shortly after their arrival, 23-year-old Hannah Sprang exited the business and was confronted by the police.
She said her appointment ran late, but claimed she checked on the children “constantly”.
However, security camera footage showed that she arrived for her appointment just after 10:49 a.m. but didn’t return to the car until 11:49 a.m.
While the outside temperature was only 69 degrees, the temperature inside the car was said to be upwards of 81 degrees.
In total, it is believed the children were left in the car for just shy of an hour and a half.
Sprang was charged with three felony counts of Neglecting a Child Under 6 Years Old.
She is due for her initial appearance on September 8th in Branch 3.
