Closures remain in place in Sheboygan County as ongoing road construction projects progress.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has shared that the closures on Highway 28 and Highway 32 are still in effect as crews continue toward completing both projects.
The bridge replacement project in Cascade on 28 will see crews conduct beam guard grading, while the final lift of asphalt will begin soon and is expected to continue until the second week of September.
Motorists will still be detoured onto County Road A and Highway 57 while work is done.
On Highway 32, culvert replacements continue progressing as well, and detour routes will be modified on Friday (August 22nd).
On Friday, there will be a full detour of 32 between Cedar Grove and Sheboygan Falls to allow work to be done on the last box culvert just south of County Road N.
The new detour taking effect this week is expected to be in place until mid-September, and the project itself has an estimated finish date of October 31st.
