
A teen is in custody after a fatal crash in Brown County.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office was called to the area of Interstate 41 and Highway 172 in Ashwaubenon last Friday (August 15th) just after 12:30 p.m.
Responding deputies got information that a male was seen running from a vehicle with a gun.
Officers found and arrested the 18-year-old man with the gun, not far from him, in a ditch.
Sheriff’s deputies also found a deceased man in the vehicle during their investigation.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death for the victim, and the 18-year-old suspect is still in custody.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reopened the Highway 172 westbound and southbound I-41 ramp around 7:00 p.m.
More information surrounding the incident is expected to be released later today (August 18th).
The name of the person who died in the crash is not being released, and no other information is being released.
