The 2025 high school football season kicks off Thursday night as Manitowoc Lincoln travels to De Pere to battle the Redbirds.

Elsewhere, Reedsville hosts Mishicot, Brillion ventures up to Sturgeon Bay, Chilton entertains Crivitz, Hilbert travels to North Fond Du Lac, Plymouth hosts Menasha, Kaukauna hosts Notre Dame of Green Bay, Bayport hosts Middleton, and Green Bay Southwest plays at Appleton East.
Everyone else will open on Friday, including the battle for the traveler’s trophy as Roncalli heads crosstown to play Manitowoc Lutheran.

It’s also time to get to work for several more fall sports teams throughout Manitowoc County.
Today is the first day of practice for boys’ soccer, boys’ and girls’ volleyball, and boys’ and girls’ cross country.
