The Two Rivers Public School District is looking to get 5th-grade students prepared for the school year.
The district has shared that the Kick-Off to Clarke event will be held on Thursday (August 21st) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The introductory event will take place at L.B. Clarke Middle School and is intended for fifth-grade students and their parents to drop off school supplies, get acclimated with a new schooling environment, and meet teachers.
Parents are asked to meet educators between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. before letting the kids get used to the new environment on their own.
Students will spend the first hour and a half getting to know their peers and participating in fun activities to get them comfortable as they begin their middle school journey.
When the event comes to a close, parents are asked to pick up their children at the pick-up area on Parkway Boulevard.
More information on the Kickoff to Clarke welcome event can be found on the Two Rivers Public Schools Facebook page.
