The Chamber of Manitowoc County is once again looking to help local high school students learn more about how to be fiscally responsible.
Throughout the school year, Chamber members will visit five different schools with their Reality Store.
During the event, students will learn basic skills in financial planning, goal setting, decision making, and career planning by giving them a monthly salary based on their career choice.
Then, they will have to pay their taxes and student loans before visiting thirteen other booths to buy a car, groceries, utilities, and more.
Volunteers are needed to assist at Mishicot High School on September 25th, Two Rivers High School on October 21st, Valders High School on October 28th, Manitowoc Lincoln on February 17th, and Manitowoc Lutheran on April 1st.
