A local Elks Club has continued its focus on supporting youth organizations.
Manitowoc Elks Lodge #687 recently signed two $750 checks for the Boys and Girls Club of Manitowoc and Scout Troop 932/6934.
The Boys and Girls Club funds will go towards providing healthy breakfast and lunch options for the children, while the Scouts will use their donation to purchase a trailer for their outdoor excursions.
Lodge Exalted Ruler Tim Ahrens noted, “Our community can always use help. If you would like to join our effort, please stop by. We’d be more than happy to have you join these efforts.”
