More officers have joined the Sheboygan Police Department.
The Department has shared that five new police officers were sworn in at a ceremony held on Tuesday (August 12th), while another received a promotion.
At Tuesday’s ceremony, Officer Dekker McCabe was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in recognition of his leadership, professionalism, and continued commitment to the Sheboygan community.
New Officers Kalen Buchner and Keith Nachtwey were welcomed into the department as graduates from the Law Enforcement Academy at Fox Valley Technical College.
Additionally, Officers Blake McClain, Julio Cerda, and Dylan Hill also took their oath to protect and serve the City of Sheboygan.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Sheboygan Police Department said, “This ceremony marked a significant milestone for our department, a moment to celebrate both the well-deserved advancement and the promising futures of our newest team members.”
