A Manitowoc man is getting probation for causing a police pursuit.
Court records show that 56-year-old Kurt D. Hall was found guilty due to a no-contest plea for fleeing and eluding an officer last Friday (August 8th).
Other charges, including 2nd-degree reckless endangering safety, resisting or obstructing an officer, and misdemeanor bail jumping, were dismissed but read into the record.
Hall was sentenced to three months of probation, plus the time he had already served in the Manitowoc County Jail.
He will also be required to pay $443 in costs.
Hall was pulled over on North 10th Street in Manitowoc in March because he was known to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Sheboygan County.
However, he drove away from the police and was later found at his home.
Hall then barricaded himself inside his house, resulting in the Manitowoc County SWAT Team forcing their way in to take him into custody.
