
One person is dead after a crash in Manitowoc last night (August 12th).
Manitowoc Police Lieutenant Adam Sohlden reports that police and EMS were called to the area of South 26th and Franklin Streets just before 5:00 p.m. on a report of a single vehicle crash.
The vehicle collided with a building in that area, and the driver died at the scene. There was no one else in the vehicle with the driver, whose name is not being released at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing. Wisconsin State Patrol and the Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
Lt. Sohlden also said, “The Manitowoc Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim.”
