A new event being introduced at the Manitowoc County Fair will highlight the work of young people in the dairy industry.
The County Fair Board has said the inaugural Showcase of Champions Dairy Auction will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The new event aims to highlight the work of youth exhibitors in Manitowoc County and the dairy projects they have been working on over the past year.
The auction will take place in the Ice Center Show Ring following the Kids, Calves, and Costumes event that begins at 2:00 p.m.
Bidders hoping to participate in the event are asked to arrive between 2:00 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to register in the show ring prior to the event’s start.
Those who do take part in the auction will be able to directly invest in the future of the dairy industry in Manitowoc County and beyond.
