Before the Packers’ regular season kicks off, police in Green Bay are giving tips to have a safe and fun Lambeau Field Experience.
The Green Bay Police Department urges football fans to arrive early to prevent long wait times when entering the stadium and to have mobile tickets ready to ensure smooth entry for you and other fans attending a game.
It is also important to review the stadium carry-in policy before heading to Lambeau.
Clear bags being brought in cannot be larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, while non-clear bags cannot exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
While enjoying Packers football, authorities encourage fans to speak up if they view any suspicious activity.
Fans can report any such behavior seen both in and outside the stadium by texting 920-645-2300. It is also recommended to plan ahead due to heavy traffic before and after a game.
Extra time will be needed when traveling to and from Lambeau, and all motorists must remain cautious of pedestrians throughout the Green Bay area on gameday.
Lastly, Green Bay PD has warned that one of the biggest safety risks on gameday is drunk driving.
Anyone who has been drinking is asked to utilize taxis, rideshare apps, or the free Green Bay metro shuttles to keep themselves and others safe on surrounding roadways.
