Federal safety officials say Didion Milling has failed to follow through on key safety recommendations issued after a deadly 2017 explosion.
The U.S. Chemical Safety Board stated the company hasn’t implemented the guidelines outlined in a 2023 report, which followed an incident that killed five and injured 14 people.
Despite several attempts to follow up, the board says Didion has not provided updates on the recommendations.
A letter sent by the company’s legal team in 2024 reportedly did not address the agency’s concerns.
