Changes are on the way at the Sheboygan Police Department.
The department is informing the public that the hours of operation of their police desk will be changing, effective Monday, August 18th.
The desk will now be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
These changes come in an effort to better serve the citizens of Sheboygan while supporting the efficiency of the department’s staff.
After reviewing public usage patterns, the Sheboygan Police Department believes this will also provide more effective and targeted services during peak hours.
The change also allows two clerks to be available during those peak hours, which are considered from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., improves phone response, and enhances staff availability and well-being.
Despite altering their police desk hours, this change will not affect the regular day-to-day operations of the department.
Anyone with questions regarding the new hours is asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Department’s non-emergency line at 920-459-3333.
