Pickleball teams from all over the state will be converging in Manitowoc for a tournament.
Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country, and Manitowoc’s Pickleball Connections is hosting its inaugural “Shake and Bake on the Lake” tournament this weekend.
The tournament is used as a fundraiser towards pickleball amenities, benefiting lighting and windscreen improvements at Rheaume and Washington Parks.
They offer all different levels of play, and teams choose based on their best players’ ability.
The games will be played Saturday at The Pickleball Connection, located at 1467 N Rapids Road, with Mayor Justin Nickels throwing the 1st pitch of the day.
