The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) issues a Public Health Alert due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
The Cured and Smoked Teriyaki Beef product, which contained soy and wheat, both known as food allergens, was not on the product’s label.
The product was sold on or before August 1st, 2025, at Holmen Locker and Meat Market.
DATCP is issuing this alert to ensure consumers with these allergies are aware that this product should not be consumed.
No illness has been reported because of consuming this product.
Consumers who have seen signs or any symptoms of a foodborne illness or allergic reactions are encouraged to contact their doctor.
