The Shoreland Baseball League has released its 2025 individual award winners.
They include Carter Stebane of The Manitowoc Bandits winning the league batting title. Stebane led the Shoreland League in several offensive categories, including base hits (29), a .518 batting average, slugging percentage, doubles, and runs scored.
The Casco Athletics swept the rest of the accolades, including Noah Lindsley being named the league’s Most Valuable Player and Pitcher of the Year.
Lindsley hit .310 with a .382 on-base percentage in 34 plate appearances, but it was his work on the mound that stood out.
The A’s hurler led the league in innings pitched (43.2), wins (5), strikeouts (60), and complete games (3).
His 1.44 ERA was fourth-lowest among qualified pitchers.
Meanwhile, Lindsley’s teammate Colin Lacey was a unanimous choice for Rookie of the Year.
In 40 plate appearances, Lacey hit .314, with an on-base percentage of .400.
On the mound, he compiled an ERA of .33 in 27 innings of work, winning three games, including striking out 19 batters in throwing a complete-game no-hitter.
Awards will be presented before game one of the Shoreland League Champ series on August 11th.
